Established by The Big Idea Group, FAT COW first opened its doors in October 2011. The word “FAT” in FAT COW stands for luxury and indulgence, and is also a play on the word “Fatt” which in Mandarin dialect means prosperity.
The luxurious Japanese restaurant serves a handpicked selection of the finest Wagyu from reputable farms around the world through customised beef experiences; where guests can enjoy their choice of beef over a variety of Japanese preparation methods - Shabu-Shabu, Sukiyaki, or the ever-popular Sumibiyaki (charcoal-grill). Besides signature Japanese Wagyu from Saga, Ohmi and Iwate regions in Japan, diners can also opt for the 'Butchers Selection', which showcases the lesser known and unusual cuts beyond the common prime cuts like the sirloin and rib eye.
The FAT COW Lounge, a cozy space perfect for pre-dinner cocktails and post-dinner digestives, features a list of Japanese-inspired cocktails and shochu infusions.
